RESEARCH EXHIBITOR REGISTRATION POLICIES & PROCEDURES
ADVANCE REGISTRATION
Please register your booth workers in advance for SC 2000 by completing the Research Exhibitor Staff Badge order form found on line at https://secure.computer.org/conf/scresearch/register.htm or in the exhibitor kit no later than Friday, 6 October with payment. After this date, your list must be presented on-site. Badges ordered on site are not guaranteed to be ready prior to 5:00pm on Sunday, 5 November. Please note that credit card information is required on this form. Forms submitted without credit card information will NOT be processed.
REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION
Written confirmation for advance registration will be mailed via postal mail to individual exhibitors by the IEEE Computer Society within five days of receipt of your registration. If you do not receive confirmation after 14 days, please call 202-371-1013 or send email to register@computer.org. (Housing confirmation is done by the Dallas Convention and Visitors' Bureau.)
TECHNICAL PROGRAM REGISTRANTS WHO ARE ALSO EXHIBITORS
Research Exhibitors will be charged $100 for each staff badge. Exhibitor staff registered for the technical program when your list is submitted do not owe the $100 staff badge fee. Please check with your staff to confirm their registration status.
EXHIBITS ONLY BADGES
Exhibits Only Badges ($80) allow entrance to the exhibit floor for one of the three days of the exhibition: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Exhibits Only Badges will go on sale Tuesday morning at 7:30am. SC 2000 will sell Exhibits Only Badges to children 12-16; they must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children under age 12 are not permitted on the exhibit floor at any time.
CANCELLATIONS AND SUBSTITUTIONS
Written requests for cancellations and substitutions will be processed. Please make every effort to meet the registration deadline of 6 October with your preliminary list. A limited number of cancellations and substitutions are expected after 6 October and will be processed upon receipt. Cancellations are subject to a $25 processing fee. No-shows are billed in full.
